Hey everyone,
I recently picked up a couple of expansion packs for BFD3, but I’m running into some frustrating installation issues. I followed the standard process: downloaded the packs, ran the installers, and authorized them through the license manager. However, BFD3 isn’t recognizing them properly.
Here’s what’s happening:
- The expansions appear in the license manager as “authorized.”
- The files seem to be installed in the correct directory.
- When I rescan the content locations in BFD3, the new kits and presets don’t show up.
- Sometimes I get an error message saying the library is “missing” or “corrupt.”
I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps:
- Manually re-adding the content paths.
- Running BFD3 as an administrator.
- Clearing and rebuilding the database.
- Reinstalling the expansions from scratch.
I’m running BFD3 on Windows 10 (fully updated), using the latest version of BFD3. My audio setup is fairly standard – using a Focusrite Scarlett interface.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with expansion packs not showing up? Is there a trick I’m missing to force BFD3 to detect the new content? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
