Upgraded to pro tools 25.10

upgraded to pro tools 25.10 and BFD isnt seeing any content, even after a restart, a re download and install and ‘setup content locations’, so I still need rosetta?

wow, no one, is bfd dead now?, def been checking out alternatives

Probably not many PT users here that could offer advice is my guess, but this forum has also quieted down. You could try the Facebook group, but not much happening there. I use PT, but 2021.6 on Intel, plus the previous version of BFD3. Have you tried removing all content paths close, reopen the app and re-add the paths?

You could also try deleting BFD3_user_preferences.pref and DataPaths.xml in users/Library/Application Support/BFD Drums/BFD3. Restart your Mac for good measure. Make a backup, or take a screenshot of any prefs you need the settings of. You’ll have to add your content paths again.

If still no luck, you could maybe try posting on https://duc.avid.com. There’s gotta be a few BFD3 users there.

thanks foe the response, it came back, lol, dont ask me how, still sluggish and a couple crashes, im getting really tired of BFD, to bad!, I’ve used for many years to replace bad sounding drums, now im looking at additive drums and superior drummer, or slate, if only I could use the bfd drums library in this alts
