[UNDER REVIEW] BFD3 crashes when closing Standalone App

  • BFD Version
    3.4.4.31

  • Steps to Reproduce:
    Quit BFD3 Standalone App from the macOS Finder Menu Bar/Command-Q

  • Expected Result:
    BFD3 Standalone Closes/Quits

  • Actual Result:
    BFD3 hangs/spinning beachball. Have to Force-Quit the App as a result.

  • Reproducibility:
    5/10 times. Very erratic behavior.

  • Additional Notes:
    This has been a long-standing bug for me. Seems to only happen with BFD3 Standalone.
    macOS 10.14.6 Mojave.

Could you send me a runtime log for this please?

It’ll be in:

/Users/YOURNAME/Library/Logs/BFD Drums/BFD3/BFD3 Runtime.<date+time>.log

The most recent one won’t have a date and time, so if you could make it happen, force quit, then send it, that would be great!

Also, you could please send your preferences file?

/Users/YOURNAME/Library/Applications Support/BFD Drums/BFD3/BFD3_User_Preferences.pref
