Support is non existent

I purchased a couple of the last expansions I need yesterday, £14 for an expansion is amazing, however, I had some issues with the purchase as it used my payapl address which is not the same as my inmusic address. Long story short, I DO NOT have the expansions, they do not show up even in the email address I used to pay for them, I cut a ticket to support to help me transfer them…silence, like a gravefuckingyard. Honestly man, the customer service from this lot is the worse shit I have ever experienced in my life, even worse than 3rd world African Home Affairs who are probably the worst in the any world. Seriously BFD, I still after all this crap support and buy expansions, a customer since the BEGINNING, and you behave like this. No wonder people are jumping ship and hating this product.

PLEASE SUPPORT ME OR REFUND ME IMMEDIATELY

TICKET - #794944

Update

I have been helped and ticket resolved, why does it always have to take creating a support case, moaning on the case the next day and on the forum, before someone helps.

InMusic support, thanks for helping me, but please, please PLEASe step up the game with responding and answering people who have so willingly supported you all, it’s really US who give you your bread & butter.

Just to play devil’s advocate… You filed a support ticket on a Friday? I wouldn’t expect to get a response until the next weekday, at least, but you got a response on a Saturday, the day after filing a ticket? That’s not bad actually. Did you get help through the forum, or they responded to your ticket via email?

I have contacted IK Multimedia 3 times and never received a response. They are the worst imo.

What expansions did you grab?

lol, yes it wasn’t too bad, I guess I am just fed up from previous and was going on passed experience. They answered via email after I updated the ticket a few times, but I wonder if they even would have so quickly if i didn’t. Anyway kudos to them. I grabbed the last 3 I don’t have, Jazz Maple, Stanton Moore Cymblas & BFD Cocktail, the latter is the best one imo. That pretty much sums up everything for me, I don’t need all the groove packs. Damn I have given BFD a lot of cash hahah, worth it tho.

I usually get a good response from IK,

I always remembered Cocktail being one of those hidden-gem expansions. I never did pick it up. I’ll have to give it another listen. I don’t make enough music to use even half of what I have already. Currently, I’m using the the Tama kit from Modern Retro with the Zelkova wooden snare. It’s one of those, this is probably the only BFD kit that I’ll ever need type of kit, but I usually say that about most of them.

With large kits like this, I can’t believe BFD was never updated to have more than 16 mono outputs for multi-out to DAW. That’s one of my gripes.

i agree, that would be really good. I know I have too many and only need one lol. The modern retro xpnsn is one of my favourites, really nice kit pieces in there. If only we could get some insight on the future of this great app.

I have almost all the expansions. They are all fantastic, but I have to say that Cocktail is probably my favorite. It’s crazy, because the size on disk is so small, and it is a recording of a severely scaled down kit. So you would expect it to be pretty disappointing. But I keep coming back to it over and over. It brings me a lot of enjoyment. I would characterize it as “tight and snappy”.

I’ve yeat to explore it more, so far I really like what I have heard from the presets and grooves.

Cocktail may be one also, but I think the one I was thinking about was actually, Jex.

Damn it… I’ve been pretty good in the past year, or so with not buying any more expansions, but all this talk and the sale is making me want to bite.

Jex is good too, there’s aren’t any crap ones imo. If I had to do without one, it’ll probably be that one from tesseract or something, i can’t remember the name.

Sphere? That is actually really good imo. You need cymbals and a proper snare, but the shells are noice, especially the Vibe kit. I snagged that off of a user here that was selling off their expansions.

i just revived cocktail in order to call upon it, in fact – as Fender_Bender well knows!

it’s a nice option to have in the hip pocket for sure (and who was the genius that sampled the CASES??!?!)
