@VoilierBleu Hi there. So that kinda worked for me. Timbale 1, Timbale 2 and Timbale 2 brush all load and sound for me. However, I can load Timbale 1 brush, but when I play it, BFD3 Standalone immediately crashes.
I suppose you have the same groove that failed, so you an repeat a test case.
Could you :
1/ Vary the profile (economy 16 bits, full, ā¦) and play the test groove
2/ Try to reduce the number of master0x.bfdlac files (you must manually suppress them, then make the program respawn the tweaks xml file relaunching it or rescanning for example) and play the test groove.
Also, if you have a station with a Windows OS, give a try on it.
Downbeat Crash and Ride are actually 7 channel files but bfdinfo.xml says they are 8 channel.
There is NO direct channel so edit the file (after backing it up) and remove the direct channel from the xml file and adjust the channel count to 7 (probably best to do this to info.xml too - as they appear to be the same contents)
The Timbale brush 1 has something wrong with itās bfdinfo.xml file - a corrupt character somewhere. To fix copy the bfdinfo.xml file from Timbale brush 2 and over right the one in brush 1. Go through and edit the ābrush 2ā to ābrush 1ā obviously.
Do this to the info.xml file as itās a copy.
Make sure you RESCAN those content folders in BFD3 after fixing
not sure why they work in BFD2 but itās obviously much more resilient than V3
We all appreciate the work youāve put in to track down a fix for these issues, so thank you for your time there! As these arenāt showstoppers for me personally, Iāll probably just wait for official fixes to the installers (assuming that actually happens at some point?) and will update any expansions as needed. Iām not too savvy with this kind of stuff and donāt want to create more problems for myself trying to manually fix things.
Ahhhh nice detective work! I can probably fix that without needing SR involvement, but theyād have to upload to their servers. Iām grabbing all the packs now. Will give them the once over.
This fix isnāt working for me. I edited the BFDInfo.xml. I cleared and rescanned a few times, but no dice. There may be a cache somewhere that I missed, but I donāt see it.
