According to a post for the release of version 3.4.5.28, hi-hat pedal and splash processing has been improved. I posted a question there that was pretty much unanswered or not seen at all. So I’ll post it here and see if anyone would like to chime in.
In the manual, you can set the hi-hat for auto splash which will trigger a pedal chick sample followed by an open hat sample to mimic the sound of a splash. However, I prefer the sound of the actual splash samples that are included with most of the libraries. For those of you using hi-hat pads and pedals, how to you get BFD3 to trigger the splash samples instead of the combo chick/open samples?
