Saving Preset in a Cakewalk Sonar Preset

I use Cakewalk Sonar. I save a BFD3 preset in a Sonar preset. When I open BFD3.5 the preset is not to be found. I can see the correct individual drums, but I don’t exactly know which preset it is. This has always been the case for me with BFD3.

What can I do to see the correct preset highlighted in Presets? What shows is the first preset in Presets (Back to the Seventies for me) and the first kit (BFD Ayotte Kit for me) in Kits

For me it is named in the LCD panel at the top of BFD3.5 UI

(As in BFD3 LCD: Presets view - Current Preset - page 13 of user manual)

I believe you are talking about saving a preset. I am talking about when I open a Sonar project the preset I made or selected is not visible. The individual drums are saved on the bottom of the screen, but I do not know which preset it is, and I have many presets dating back to the first BFD.

In Sonar, all other vst instruments retain the preset or instrument that was used when Sonar was last closed. Only BFD does not tell me which preset it is using.

No, in all my DAWs, when I load a project, the preset I selected when I saved the project is named in that panel.

But like you say it isn’t highlighted in the browser, but it is named up there in that panel

What does it say for you?

Staring right at me all these years. Thank you. I see that every time I open BFD which is every day. I appreciate this.
