Hi, love the sound of BFD drums so far, but I am having a noob problem: The palette has slots with notes on the right hand side, and I fill the slots with various grooves. then in Ableton I put in the note of the slot I want to play and it should play that slot but instead it follows the focus so if I click on a slot it plays that one until I click on another slot, ignoring the midi notes. I have a midi monitor right before BFD3, and the notes are definitely coming in. I am sure I am missing either a better way or a simple overlooked setting but I was unable to figure it out from the manual or YouTube or internet searches. I would be grateful for your help demystifying this.
ok, my answers were tucked away in the manual. to use the internal track, set it to track and drag slots from the groove palette down to the track lane. to control from midi sequnce, which is what I wanted to figure out, set the track/palette/off setting to off and set slot dropdowns to default wherever you can in the palette dropdowns, sync to host if there is no default
