I use the BFD3 core library for drum practice at home, and record acoustic, so I have never used any grooves, and don’t plan to. I’m also running out of HD storage, and am wondering if there is a way to install without any grooves. I manually deleted them, but then I get like 3 pop-ups complaining about paths, and whatnot. Anyone know a way to do this? Thanks!
Delete the path from your content locations page.
It will probably be flagged so it shouldn’t be hard to find.

Oh, I’m a blind idiot. Thanks!
I’m not even sure BFD3 installs grooves for the core library. I think they just come embedded in the Presets. Regardless, you’re not going to save much real-estate, as grooves are pretty small in file size.
I thought as much, they are very small, well compared to content anyway. minimal.
Yeah, not much space saved, but when you have 120MB free, 20MB makes a difference. At least that’s what I tell myself. I need a second computer…or deaf neighbors
That’s pretty dangerous running your boot drive with that little amount of free space. It will slow down a lot and constantly have to write over what little sectors are left. I’m not sure what computer you have, but I might think about an SSD upgrade before having to shell out for a new machine.
It is an SSD, and I absolutely need a new computer. I remembered that I can install a smaller version of BFD, so I’ve done that, for now. 20GB baby, whoo!
