Hoping this is just a quirk that I haven’t figured out yet. In Studio One, while I’m writing a groove, if I have to change the length of the groove or change the time signature, it causes the starting point of playback to be somewhere other than the first bar. In other words, if my playback point is at bar 14 in the DAW and the groove I’m writing is in sync with that point and has 4 bars, then subtracting a bar from the groove causes the loop to start at bar 3 in the groove while the DAW playback is starting from bar 14 still. It is incredibly frustrating, and I’m hoping I’m just overloooking something. Changing def.start and def.end in the groove menu does not change anything about the playback.
