If I want to begin my journey as a music producer, can I use MIDI packs and files for composing new sounds?
If you can’t, or don’t want to write your own drums, then midi files and loops are your only other option, unless you get yourself a drummer of course.
As a song writer and guitarist, I much prefer to create my own drums, it’s painfully slow though.
Occasionally I might find a loop that comes close to what I’m after and then adapt it, but sometimes the frustration and time spent trying to find something that fits with what I’ve written, is worse than actually writing myself.

Of course you can, there’s tons of stuff available for creating and composing. Not sure why you are asking if you can?
