Help. Crash log, no link to send it to

Try as I may. Can’t post crash log. I’m too ill to mess with this stuff.

BFD 3 latest build.

Cubase 14. Windows.

Had contact with Steinberg over the past two years, and got the usual. It’s my fault, it’s machine specific, it’s the plug in manufacturer, etc, etc, etc.

All was running as well as could be until this unexpected crash.

I have the crash log but no link to send it to anyone for inspection.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

It may be just a random thing, but who knows?

EDIT 07 03 25

I sent Drew a message on here a few days ago. Don’t know if he got it? I attached the crash/log files.

If anyone replies to this message it may get at least two months now before I can access. I’m losing my internet provider/connection.

Fingers crossed things get resolved with any BFD issues. Though I’m not hopeful at all that any Steinberg issues will ever be resolved.

Neil

Further EDIT.

I’ll copy the links again. If they don’t appear here then the have not been allowed for some reason.

Anybody there guys ‘n’ gals.

Feel a bit invisible.

I’m going to guess that most of the people who viewed your post and didn’t respond might have wondered why you didn’t contact BFD3 support?

Some folk are good with the internet. Sadly, as a disabled man, I’m not one of those.

Having tried contact with support, it was a very difficult experience for me, and I didn’t get past the first hurdle.

At present, being extremely ill, finding time to belong to the internet community has it’s drawbacks.

The next best place for me was here on the forum.

I’d finally managed to post the the links to the crashlogs in the first post.

Sadly, three or four attempts at the same post saw the links removed, granted, me not being good with this stuff must shoulder some of the blame for that. Anyhow, we’re here.

And thank you for the reply.

Sometimes life has a bad habit of making folk invisible.

When I get back up and running I’ll be giving it another go, though I won’t hold my breath for a good outcome on the part of Windows, or Steinberg.

Though my faith in the BFD team still exists.

Neil.
