Freezing on a cymbal while it's playing for editing

I want to work on a cymbal while it’s playing with everything else so I select the cymbal in the drums area and press play. I’m referring to the section on the right that has General, Tuning, Bleed, Loudness, etc. How do I freeze this section for editing while the track is playing? The selected drum changes it everytime it’s played.

BFD will change kit pieces visually (Mixer/Key Map view), based on what MIDI notes are being triggered at any given time.
