Driving BFD3 samples from Jamstix

In my Cubase 14 I’ve managed to get Jamstix 4 to trigger the way better samples in BFD3, except the Jamstix timing has a stutter to it . . . real showstopper for a drum groove maker. If I run just Jamstix, the groove works OK, but drums sounds suck in comparison to BFD3. As soon as I switch the input to BFD3 kit, there is this timing irregularity, like a hesitation. Any one else had any success with this ?

I’ve used Jamstix successfully with BFD in the past, and dont remember any timing irregularity, this was a while back so not using 3.5. I tended to create the Jamstix performance and export the Jamstix MIDI, with BFD output mapping for further editing, maybe try that?

I have successfully used Jamstix recently with BFD 3.5 using Studio One 7 as the DAW in Windows 11. As per the previous responder I typically export the Jamstix MIDI and then use this while finishing tracking. If I need to I can always go back to change the Jamstix “performance” lol and re export the MIDI file.

Hello, and thanks for the responses . . . I found the cause of my issue was actually that I had my audio driver buffer size cranked up too high (from a recent mixdown session) . . . apparently that has an affect on how it responds to timing.
