I’ve tried to post this in the bug report section but for some reason I’m not allowed to create a topic, and after following the path from the ‘Support’ button on the website I found no options that made sense for reporting software issues. So I’m hoping the right people will see them here.
Windows 10 (up to date), AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, 32GB ram. Reaper 7.11, running either the 64bit vst2 and vst3i versions of BFD 3.5
No obvious trigger, and I’ve had occasional crashes since I started using 3.5 a few weeks ago, however now I’m seeing it much more often sometimes several times in the space of 3 or 4 hours.
Situations where I’ve seen a crash so far:
With plugin open, playing the project while auditioning different drums from the browser.
With plugin open, while previewing grooves in the midi browser.
With plugin open, project playing and adjusting mix and effect parameters.
With plugin closed, project playing and repeating a short section.
With plugin closed, project playing shortly after importing a one-shot snare sample, adding the new drum and linking to existing snare drum.
Crash logs attached for the most recent ones, any help would be greatly appreciated - I’ve pretty much tried every drum vsti going and BFD is by far the most realistic sounding compared to my days in studios recording real drums, but this crash issue is making me question whether I can really rely on it.
