I recently got an alesis Nitro Max and downloaded the BFD player with the included expansion and I successfully managed to have the BFD player play the sounds of my drums, however as I’m playing, eventually the drum kit will disconnect from the player, requiring a full restart of both the kit and the player.
The player doesn’t freeze, I can still click it and hear sounds and the animations okay. Also the kit itself still works as I can switch back to local mode and play within the module without turning it off and on again.
I’ve checked that I’m using a USB 2.0 port in my PC. I’ve also checked the power settings for the USB bus manager on windows. I’ve also factory reset the module. I’ve done everything I can think of and that I found online and yet it’s still happening. The timings of the disconnections aren’t consistent, sometimes it happens within 3 minutes of playing, sometimes within 30. It also doesn’t seem to be related to playing intensity.
I’m at a complete loss on what to do and I’d appreciate any help!
