Cancelling scan

Is there a way to remove the content paths before opening BFD3? Every time I open BFD after updating it goes straight to the scanning content page and after a few seconds it crashes. It was working fine before the latest update. Is there a file I can delete?

Thanks,
Bob

If you’re on windows you can find the datapaths xml and deleted that at the following address

C:\Users\purti\AppData\Roaming\BFD Drums\BFD3.

There’s also a ‘User Preference’ file that might be worth deleting in case that has info on where you libraries are located.

Thing is I’m not sure that’ll stop it scanning, if anything it will cause it to scan but maybe starting from fresh with distract it.

Although hopefully it will ask you to show it where the core library is located.

It’s a pain but if you have lots of expansion kits and groove folders, I’d advise scanning them one by one.

Thanks for the reply Steve. I’m on a Mac so I’m trying to figure out what files I can delete and hopefully I can then rescan.
