bfd3 works standalone but does not appear in Pro tools 2023

hello,
I just bought a new Mac M2 (macOs Sonoma 14.1).
I work with pro tools artist in version 2023.
after reinstalling BF3 on my new system, it only works standalone but does not appear in pro tools as a plug in? Does anyone know if there is anything to do to make this work?

Thank you

Olivier

Did you try looking in the Avid plugins folder location to see if it’s there? I’ve had issues with PT prompting me that the BFD3 plugin wasn’t a valid .aax plugin before on PT startup.

Maybe it’s a write permissions issue for that folder? Command-i on that folder will show the permissions at the bottom.System and Users should be Read & Write, but maybe try changing Everyone to that as well.

After that, try re-installing BFD3 again.

I have the same problem with Nuendo 12pro. I have the MacBook Pro M1 chip. It’s doing my head in hard!!!

BFD is not AAX Silicone Native yet so no workie in Pro Tools
