BFD3 and Roland SPD-SX

Hi Forum. every now and again I try to get back into BFD - Is there any way I can drive it woith my Roland SPD - I’m not super techncial and was hopin gfor a plug and play answer but I htink I need some mapping keys to make them work together

I wnat to use them inside protools and would realy appreciate any advice

Multipads were designed to be an addon/expansion for Kits so the MIDI mapping is completely different and users have different layout preferences.

If you re-Map the SPD-SX to use as a Kit and follow GM Mapping you will be able to load Roland Kit Maps as the Majority of the Modules are based on the GM Standard Mapping.
There is also a GM Map in just about every Vst/Software available so you wouldn’t be spending your time re-mapping.

SPD-SX: Default MIDI Note Number Map

PAD 1 = 60

PAD 2 = 61

PAD 3 = 62

PAD 4 = 63

PAD-5 = 64

PAD-6 = 65

PAD-7 = 66

PAD-8 = 67

PAD-9 = 68

Trigger Input 1/2 = 69/70

Trigger Input 3/4 = 71/72

Thanks Chaser. That’s genius - I managed to get a basic kit working in no time

Thanks for the advice
