I wanted to post a congratulatory message to the BFD developers as the 3.5 upgrade is fantastic. For context, I run Windows 11 in one environment and a Mac Intel running Ventura. Needed to download all new installers and re-do content directories, which is a large ask for users that own many (all) of the expansion packs. Now if anyone knows a way to get the DrumDrops expansions from back in the day to work, please let me know. In the past, I could work around some limitations by editing the xml files directly.

A separate question, is there a download for the Alan Parsons Vintage 70s Kit coming soon?

It’s great so far except the long times to initiate and the somehow large GUI…

  1. Crazy CPU spikes that resolved after disabling multi-threaded synthesis in synth engine.
  2. Loads immediately when I disable wifi on my laptop (so if I’m in a hurry I guess I’ll have to go offline until they fix that)

It doesn’t change from time to time, it’s consistently unacceptablly bad.
Over a minute every single is not “sluggish” it’s simply unacceptable - that’s on an M2Pro mac mini with 32GB of RAM and a 100mbps internet connection. It’s not system related, it’s a problem at your end or in the software itself and was reported before release. You released it knowing this was broken.
