Overview

BFD Player is an attractive, modern looking drum plugin that offers a simple and fast workflow. It focuses on great presets and sounds, offering the legendary sound quality of BFD software.

Known issues:

  • Mono buses 9-16 are not available in ProTools and in Logic.
  • Logic offers 12xStereo + 12xMono and 24xStereo plugin configurations which are invalid and which won’t load.
  • Player plugin window scale maxes out at 150% in Pro Tools.
  • When BFD Player is inserted in Pro Tools, the LCD panel shows “New Preset” instead of being blank.
  • Player doesn’t take keyboard focus until close/reopen UI (Logic M1 Ventura only).
  • Installer leaves behind files in temp folder (Windows).
