Hello. I am running 3.4.3.7 on a 2010 macpro macOS 10.14 Reaper 6 AU. I updated to 3.4.3.7 and now BFD crashes when I click to migrate. It will open if I defer migration. Can you help me getting working to migrate please? thanks
You will do much better to not press the Migrate button at all. All it does is copy old presets/kits/grooves/etc over from the FXpansion installation into the BFDDrums installation. There have been some issues with it in the past. It’s more reliable just to manually copy any old files over that you want to keep.
i.e. Go into /Library/Application Support/FXpansion/BFD3/System/, and copy any files you want over to /Library/Application Support/BFD Drums/BFD3/System.
If you want to keep old BFD2 presets, which some expansion install. do the same except change “BFD3” to “BFD3”. i.e. you’ll have a “BFD2” directory under BFD Drums, also.
