BFD 3.5 No longer displaying Label Piano Roll? (FL Studio)

BFD 3 used to display the name of every note Within FL’s piano roll (pre 3.5) but ever since this update it’s been stuck like this (notes blank)

as a result doing anything feels like a guessing game, it’s made working within it much less convenient, anything I find revolving this topic online usually had no answers/responses, it seems like nobody has really taken note of it. I’m posting because it’s been months and this is still an issue. Is there at least some kind of fix?

Yep, I reported this on first release of BFD3.5 with Cakewalk Sonar and Bandlab.

It’s useless for me, so I went back to 3.4.

Even more annoying is that they have taken down all previous versions of BFD3, so if you need/want to go back, you’re basically f#ckedIf (thanks inmusic)

If you need to go back to 3.4 PM me.

3.4 still works for me, so if vst2 is ok for U, it is still a valid workaround.

But… I am afraid we will not see this feature back soon if ever. Not a word from devs. Shame.

Come to think of it, I think Drew did mention this being a VST3 issue and not really and BFD3 issue.

I think from memory, BFD2 was the first drum VST that displayed kit names in Cakewalks PRV.

No one else was taking advantage back then and it took others an age to catch up.

I’m not even sure if Toontracks EZdrummer and SD2 & 3 even bothered.

It’s a terrible regression on the part of the VST3 developers that they ditched this wonderful feature.
I wonder why.

It’s still pretty poor show that no of the Dev team have responded to my post from back in November last year. @Clive did say he’d look into it.

I’m assuming that he would have known about the VST3 standard.
I feel like there should be a campaign to Steinberg to amend the situation immediately.
