BFD 3.5 cpu load and streaming issue

Just updated to 3.5 and I’m having an issue where my cpu load is max no matter what engine or buffer size settings I select. I’m on a MAC M1 using Sequoia in Logic Pro playing a Roland TD-50. In v3.4 I used to be able to run 32 buffer Full Detail w/o issue. In 3.5 with the buffer set to 64 in Logic and BFD Detail set to Economy 16 bit, I’m hearing a crazy amount of streaming artifacts. Completely unplayable. Also, the cpu meter stays pinged even when BFD is not playing back any samples. FWIW If I bypass the plugin then the cpu meter naturally goes down, but when un bypass the plugin it immediately jumps the cpu meter max w/o me even playing back a sample.

Slightly off-topic, in regards to triggering samples, In standalone, I used to be able to trigger them via my drum pads AND my keyboard controller. In 3.5 it now seems like I have to choose one or the other in the midi settings. This is not the case when I’m in Logic.

For the CPU/artefacts issue try disabling Multi-threaded synthesis and Multi-threaded mixer in Menu>Tools>Show Preferences…>Engine>Synth Engine

That worked! Thanks amigo, you rock!
