Anybody using this combo? I’m running an M1 MBP and macOS Sequoia 15.7.7. Any issues that I need to be aware of? I haven’t been using BFD for a while but would like to try it now.
Well here we go. No love.
When I tried to load a drum kit in the BFD3 plugin inside Logic I got an error message in BFD:
“BFD3 has been disabled because:
You are not logged into your inMusic account.
Please run the BFD License Manager.”
Fair enough. I then clicked on the link to launch License Manager and got this message:
“There was an issue retrieving your list of products
Our server was unable to process the request. Please try again shortly. Server message: The request could not be authorized.”
Lovely. So I continued doing some housekeeping in Logic which included assigning BFD3 as the instrument in my MIDI drum tracks. After a couple of times seeing BFD launch with its error message to run License Manager I suddenly got this error message in Logic:
“An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable.
Please quit and restart Logic Pro.”
Now I remember why I haven’t used BFD in a while. I’m using BFD License Manager 3.0.6.22.
