Ok, so I just bought the Alesis Nitro Max with the expansion kit (an extra floor tom and crash cymbal). BFD player seems to map the extra crash cymbal just fine, but even with the Vintage 70s expansion pack that looks to have 2 floor toms they both map to the same floor tom in BFD Player. How can I get the 2nd floor tom on the Alesis kit to map to Floor tom 2 in BFD Player?
Try this MIDI Map…see if it fixes the issue.
Alesis Nitro Max 6 Pc.zip (1.3 KB)
Unzip…
Place it in the BFD Player Maps Folder
Windows …C:\ProgramData>BFD Drums>BFDPlayer>System>Maps.
macOS Library>Application Support>BFD Drums>BFDPlayer>System>Maps
Hi Chaser, i just purchased a nitro max with the expansion pack.
I downloaded this zip file to my Mac, the file location for Mac did not match my set-up, but i found where to place the file, and BDF can see it and I selected the nitro max 6-piece kit as my mapping. However, it still does not pick up the 4th tom as a separate tom from the 3rd one when i play it. I have put a support ticket in with BDF, and while I’m waiting i though i would see if any one else has fixed this particular issue.
What location changed?..you are using BFD Player…correct?
Which expansion ?..Vintage?..macOS Sequoia?
