3.5 is utter trash. How do I rollback to 3.4

I (very very f**king regrettably) finally upgraded to 3.5. First of all the dark skin is garbage and I can’t believe that this was ever considered acceptable to not have the light skin.

Besides that, it borked the hell out of my 3.4. It’s gone from my daw, all my settings and drums are gone. It didn’t migrate sh!t and I have a to now start over specifying all my content locations which considering I have all the libraries available as well as a big number of third party libraries, and they’re all over the place, this will take forever - which I’m not doing anyway since I hate the living sh!t out of 3.5.

On top of it, why does 3.5 insist on taking a minute to check my registration every time I open it? I OWN THE FRIGGIN’ THING. You don’t have to keep checking my registration and wasting time.

I opened my BFD license manager and tried to re-download 3.4 but now it’s been changed to 3.5 (which is odd since it’s not the inmusic manager).

I really wish I could just go back to a few minutes ago before I knew 3.5 even existed. If I could take all my money back from inmusic and replace it with my foot up their ass, I would.

I’m sorry this is such an aggressive post but I should have known better than to upgrade and to assume inmusic knows what the f**k they’re doing. I have no idea what I was thinking. My blood pressure at the moment is off the charts.

I can try to do a restore point rollback but I stupidly didn’t make one for BFD 3.5 and so it’s going to affect a few programs because my most recent one is 6 days ago so that can be another nightmare.

I just want 3.4 back with all my content locations and everything so I my projects will work again and load correctly. Please can anyone help.

I feel really stupid updating. Besides I do this professionally and the last thing I needed was inmusic to completely f**k my system up and potentially ruin a bunch of projects I’m in the middle of with deadlines. Yeah, I know that’s on me - the last thing I should have done was trust inmusic. I swear I haven’t wanted to punch my friggin’ monitor like this in a long time.

HELP

Ok, one the upside, I think I managed to find BFD 3.4 - I was mistaken about the BFD License Manager not having it. It did - it was merely telling my my current version was 3.5. I reinstalled it but it looks like I have to specify all my content locations again grrrrr but whatever - if I can ditch 3.5 and go back to 3.4 I’ll do it.

Ahhh Ok - I added all the content paths and it looks like it’s all back to normal.

I swear, I’m sticking to 3.4 until inmusic gets their sh!t together.

Let me know if they ever get it right and add a light skin.

You were able to download products using the old license manager? That’s new.

I just tried to downlod with the 3,4 licence manager.
You don’t get a message telling you you can’t, and it looks like it is downloading, but I don’t think it is as there’s no progress afer 5 minutes and I have a giggabye broadband speed.

Steve, did you try the BFD v3.4 app itself? That’s what OP kinda implied, I think. I’m not surprised that the expansions still don’t download, based on the v3.5 silence.

Yes, I’ve stuck with BFD3.4 and was trying to download via the licence manager.
