I finally got back to this metal jam I started working on a couple of years ago. It was intended to be my template to setup to route the BFD Oblivion kit into Pro Tools to mix. These are the “pure”, unprocessed versions of the samples that come with the expansion. I think the kick has the plastic beater and the snare is the Mapex. As per usual, there’s a couple of Steven Slate samples blended in. Every time I mix an expansion for the first time, I say, ooh, this is my new favorite. Oblivion is no exception.
