When I go to Show Preferences and Migration I click on the “Migrate Now” button it crashes almost instantly.
Haven’t seen this reported before, have you contacted support at support@bfddrums.com
There is a guide to migrating BFD manually somewhere that I think @BFD_Drew might have posted.
It’s pretty simple doing it that way and you avoid using the migration tool although it would be useful to know why it is crashing.
I’m assuming you have the most up to date versions of the LM and BFD3?

And is your OS up to date?
Well it’s as up to date as I can get it.
I’m a windows user but I’m guessing BFD3 official supports High Sierra?
It seems every time apple change their OS BFD3 users have to wait for it to be tested.
I blame apple here though.

Your Mac Mini can be upgraded up to macOS Catalina fwiw. I’m running High Sierra though with an old cheese grater and BFD3 runs fine… once you actually get it up and running, so I don’t think it’s an OS issue.
I did the migration manually, as the migration feature never worked for me. It didn’t crash though. Maybe just try importing your kits, presets, grooves, etc manually?
