# BFD3.5 - Remove the BFD License Manager?

BFD users—

Okay, I’ve installed BFD3.5, and eventually got it linked to my content (on an external drive).

The installation page says, " The BFD License manager has been discontinued and is replaced with the **inMusic Software Center**". I presume this means I can now remove the BFD License Manager from my Mac. Is there a sanctioned way to do this, besides just deleting the app (and potentially leaving bits behind, such as prefs/settings/license info)?

Yes, you can safely remove it.

So authorization is moved to **inMusic Software Center,** good to know. I tried it know and it all works smooth. Hopefully we will not need to re authorize it every month like BFD licensem manager.
