BFD Player and Alesis Surge Mesh SE - strange hi-hat behaviour [Resolved]

The map had MIDI Note 23 activated previously (years ago) for BFD3 to eliminate the silent spot.
The Nitro/Surge Module (Medeli DD512) is a design that’s over 10 years old…previously The short lived Alesis DM7X.
I set the attached map (above) to Variable Mode as BFDPlayer doesn’t have that particular Feature/Option as BFD3 does.,so you can’t go in and adjust the Hi Hat pedal transition etc(Transmutation)
The maps in BFD Player are from BFD3 and are 5 Zone (Full Open-3 Zones-Full Closed) which the majority of the expansions are…BFD Player has the updated Hi Hat Engine and Samples (Dark Farm) which is 9 Zones (0-8) (Full Open-7 Zones-Full Closed) and all the 1/8 Articulations.

The BFD3 maps are typically set for dual zone Hi Hats.

The BFD Player only has one Module mapped (that I’m aware of,I haven’t used BFDPlayer much since release) for both BFD3 and BFD Player for the updated engine/Dark Farm Articulation-samples and that is the Alesis Nitro MAX.
The maps for some software/Vst BFD3,EZDrummer3 and GetGoodDrums are mapped also.
I don’t believe there is an SD3 map.

The map is setup for a Triple Zone/Variable Hi hat (Nitro MAX doesn’t have)
